Artist. Illustrator. Husband. Father. Fanboy. Nerd. Geek. Dancer. Debaucherist. That last one isn't even a word. But all me.

Art has been my life since childhood, and I continue to serve for its place in the universe by continuing to evolve and contribute. I am in awe of the great masters and those with great potential to be. I am a student of both great impressionists and comic book illustrators. I wield a variety of media from graphite to ink to acrylic to digital to realize vision that is nurtured by the things that inspire me.

My creative influences range from the world-renowned masters to the incognito revolutionaries of the art game. Leonardo Da Vinci, Alphonse Mucha, George Perez, Jack Kirby, MC Escher, Adam Hughes, as well as other visionaries like The Watchowskis, Guillermo del Toro, and Kevin Smith are among my many influences, but I am mostly influenced by the ever-changing world around me.

A cold pint of Guinness is usually the perfect end to my day. Actually, it's several pints.

Interests
I recently posted an illustration I did in support of the victims of the horrific events in Paris. As an illustrator, I feel the need to stand united with those who make their living in the creative field, such as the cartoonists who lost their lives for committing the sin of... freedom of expression.

A "Deviant" decided to take this opportunity to leave this comment: "cool drawing shame about the band wagon lol".

I've always considered DeviantArt to be a place for artists... all creatives... to come together as a community. To learn from each other, to inspire each other. But every now and then, dudes like this pop up. I don't know him, never met him. Yet he decides to mar my creative expression of support with... whatever the fuck that is. As artists, we should be supportive even when we are critical. That comment wasn't any of that,

Whoever you are, I don't know you. And you don't know me. But do me and all the DeviantArtists a favor the next time you comment on anyone else's art. Be supportive. Be constructively critical. Or be quiet. "Tough guy".

If you aren't/haven't already...Marvel/DC will be driving large dump trucks full of money up to your house in the next year to get you to work from them.

As promised, my new colored versions of your art. I chose to begin with your Batman TAS tribute. I did two versions of wich I'm not terribly satisfied but let me know what you think.
